Foot Reiki with Chakra Balancing
Reiki is a Japanese energy based therapy that promotes healing and well being. A Reiki trained practitioner uses their hands to transmit energy to the receiver.
There is a formal and intuitive process of exchanging energy and using appropriate Reiki symbols.
Chakra balancing is about connecting to fill these energy centres with positive vibrations to restore a receiver back to a healthy state. This is achieved by energy flowing freely to enhance the immune system.
Chakra is an Indian word meaning vortex or spinning wheel. Our life force is energy and the higher harmonies of energy levels improve our well being and reach our goals. Our 7 main Chakras (energy centres) have energy flowing through them constantly. This unseen energy is drawn in and exits from via the Chakras, interacting with the mind, body and soul. This affects us on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. When our energy centres are harmonious, they spin openly and evenly which creates balance. When we are depressed, stressed or anxious, our Chakras are depleted, blocked or damaged.
A block is where energy is trapped and to deal with this we need to get the energy moving again. This is what Reiki does. When energy flows harmoniously through the systems of the body it releases dis-ease. Reiki treatments assist to correct Chakra alignment, and promote balance. This process brings about a feeling of relaxation, rejuvenation and refreshing peace once all the Chakras are working together .
The lower 3 (1-3) Chakras concern our physical environment which encompasses emotions and mental thoughts as well as material concerns. The Heart Chakra and the upper 3 (=4) Chakras deal with spiritual aspects. Each Chakra aligns with a specific endocrine hormone gland and nerve plexus.

FOOT CHAKRAS:
A foot massage opens up the foot Chakras. The feet are minor Chakras and are grounding. The feet enable the ongoing flow and communication within the energy grids of mother earth on the 7 main Chakras of the physical and spiritual bodies. The foot Chakras are considered of importance as they are centre where the universal and divine energy returns back to its source. They are the last point energy is part of you and they are energy transformers that regulate the quality and intensity of the energy flow.
I believe in the relevance of foot massage and Chakra balancing of the feet and incorporate this with a Reiki foot Chakra balance and I have designed a treatment combining all three.
