Reiki

Originating in Japan, Reiki was conceived and taught by initiation and passed down from Dr Mikao Usui. It is a form of stress reduction, bringing forward relaxation and helps the journey towards healing through the ‘life force energy’ coming through the hands of a practitioner. The resulting calmness brings in healthy happiness.
Benefits of reiki include balancing energy and improving immunity through fostering natural self-healing. Reiki aids relaxation and reduces anxiety as well as improving sleep and releasing stress and tension. Furthermore, reiki may relieve depression and encourage mental clarity by heightening self-awareness and intuition thereby increasing creativity. Reiki may also help with pain management and improve recovery. Finally, it can assist with grief, trauma and loss.

Massage
Massage works through the muscles to promote blood circulation and flow. Physical and psychological changes occur due to the massage ‘tune up’. Massage is beneficial for counteracting work-related stress, tension and the effects of sitting long periods as well as physical labour and extended over-concentration. In the workplace, it influences staff well-being which flows on to a calmer and more productive work space.
Massage is a luxury you can’t afford to miss. It changes the way you feel and if you listen to your body when it whispers, you won’t have to hear it scream. If you don’t take care of your body, where else are you going to live.
Benefits of massage include stimulating the release of endorphins which are the body’s natural pain killer. Massage is an ancient form of ‘medicine’ that improves circulation and reduces blood pressure as well as relieving muscle tension and improving endurance.
Reiki 1 Course
When you learn Reiki you can assist yourself and others. Doing this by way of the art and science of channelling universal energy (life force) which exists in all things , creates a particular pattern to heal and harmonize the mind , body and soul.
I also have a special interest in teaching Reiki level 1 &2 to carers and staff ,volunteers whom care for people with and children/teenagers /adults with Autism, Asperger’s. AHAD ,ADD.
Cost is $150.00 per level. Level 2 will be accessible 4 weeks after level 1 .
Reiki level 1 is where you will learn the history , how it is practiced and what this encompasses.
As a Yoga teacher , I will be passing on knowledge and practical learning about the breath , relaxation, visualisation ,chakras and energy (both last 2 are traditionally part of Reiki too)and how the process is administered and will be attuned to this levelReiki 1 needs to be practiced before Reiki 2 is attuned.
Reiki 2 Course
When you learn Reiki you can assist yourself and others. Doing this by way of the art and science of channelling universal energy (life force) which exists in all things , creates a particular pattern to heal and harmonize the mind , body and soul.
Anyone can partake in my Reiki level 1 & 2 classes .
I also have a special interest in teaching Reiki level 1 &2 to carers and staff ,volunteers whom care for people with and children/teenagers /adults with Autism, Asperger’s. AHAD ,ADD.
Cost is $150.00 per level. Level 2 will be accessible 4 weeks after level 1 .
Reiki is about becoming open to energy flow & using it on oneself. Reiki 1 needs to be practiced before Reiki 2 is attuned.
Reiki 2 is when you may practice on friends and family ( as well as on going on oneself) & introduces distant healing attuned. It will be informative and practical, will share Reiki with others on the day( within class)
Custom Wellness Plans
‘Necessity is the mother of invention’ and optimum results occur when change is upon us but I can provide assistance when change is needed or being considered. Custom wellness plans can address issues such as physical posture, strengthening and flexibility and relaxation coaching. The regimes involve yogic principals, diet, breathing exercises, posture training and chakras practices in order to learn to achieve deep relaxation.
We will aim to achieve relaxation of the whole being and this thread is incorporated into all sessions. I will research and endeavour to design a plan most-suited to your specific individual needs Reiki and massage can also be included in your wellness plan as negotiated.
Dietary Advice
This service is based on what medical professionals have diagnosed. Consideration is given to cultural, religious and other special requirements. We will work to improve choices that restore the body to optimum health. We will also introduce different flavours and textures into the nutritional plan and learn to enjoy them to the fullest. All dietary advice adheres to international nutritional guidelines. An introduction to Ayurvedic Indian dietary practices will be provided if desired.
